Ideally located in Columbia, SC you will find yourself in close proximity to the rolling mountains, the abundant beaches of South Carolina as well as a short drive to both Charlotte, NC and Atlanta, GA.
System Administrator
A strong and growing organization with billions of dollars in Assets in assets, is seeking an experienced System Administrator. Primary responsibilities include administration of the company’s systems, to include Active Directory, ASG Mobius, Citrix, Microsoft Servers, and/or other products as required. The position will also be responsible for performing software installations, upgrades to operating systems, and layered software packages. Resolving and documenting trouble tickets and creating or updating system documentation along with scheduling installations and upgrades in accordance with IT policies and procedures will also be required.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree and at least 5 years of experience as an administrator or system technician
• Technical knowledge of Windows operating systems, Active Directory, Citrix and/or Microsoft Exchange.
• Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of information technology industry trends and emerging technologies is required.
• Successful candidate must also have the ability to identify, solve, and document complex technical problems and present excellent oral and written communication skills.
